Born in Guyana
FEBRUARY 27TH, 1982
Simmone was born on February 27th, 1982 in Guyana, and moved to Canada not long after. She attended Birchmount Collegiate for high school, and later pursued a degree in Community and Justice Services at Centennial College. After graduation, she worked in Family Court, Hostel Relief and Social Services for a number of years. She was blessed with her first son, Leelan, in 2005, and in 2018 she was blessed with a second son, Phoennix.
Simmone was passionate about helping others no matter their situation. She was strong and beautiful in every way and had a unique sense of humour. She was a free spirit that loved to travel and live life to the fullest. She loved her sons more than anything and would stop at nothing to give them the best life possible. On February 17th, 2021, it is with great sadness that we learned that Simmone was in a fatal motorcycle accident while in Jamaica a week before her 39th birthday. She leaves behind her two sons, 15-year-old Leelan and 3-year-old Phoennix.
Simmone was an angel and sometimes God takes his angels home early. It breaks our hearts to have her leave us so soon but this is not goodbye because Simmone is forever in our hearts and we will meet again.
